Due to the locking function with monitoring, the interlock can also be ideally used for situations with longer machine retardation (or overrun). Functional description The interlock is optionally available and is integrated into MecLock safeguards at the factory to ensure smooth operation. The interlock must be integrated into a safe control system of the operator and operated via this system. When the safeguard is closed, the interlock is automatically positively actuated by the pane frame. The read head of the integrated safety sensor detects and monitors the closed and locked safeguard in the locking position.
